Health NOT High – Re-visioning the Branding of Hemp

Confusion between hemp and cannabis has been on-going for decades and the confusion between hemp-derived and cannabis-based oils continues to rise. Educating inexperienced consumers may constitute the biggest and most delicate hurdle for the hemp industry, but we have before us the opportunity for clarity. The marketplace is an extremely confusing territory in regard to the benefits and intended use of a hemp-derived products. So, what do business owners need to know about representing their product to the right customers in this expanding marketplace? For decades, goofy stoner iconography, such as pot-leaf decals were the defacto brand of the popular imagination. What’s next?
